I live in a heavy democratic city and state. I have been into politics and history from the age of 10. With the lockdown keeping me out of work for 5 months I've had even more time to learn and do my own research. I have spent 8 hours some days learning about current events and who is and who is not actually reliable sources. I enjoy have political discussions with people so I often find myself trying to convince people of the truth and show them the media liying but they say things like "you should watch John Oliver". It pisses me off so much that they believe that a comedy show with a partisan slant is going to be more truthful than someone who just passionate and knowledgeable on the subject. I even offer to show them first hand sources but they don't want to. Some people are so indignant it is disgusting
