I've never understood what is so offensive about saying and believing that all lives matter. Everyone is included by saying "ALL LIVES". The only thing I can figure out is that some people want some lives to matter more than anyone else's. If you believe that the balance has been off for years where YOUR race's life has had no worth in the eyes of others, then how does it make it all better now for you by rioting, looting, and killing others?
I am with you on this but their argument is that yes all lives matter but saying black lives matter is putting a spotlight on the injustices black people are suffering which needs to be looked at....other races dont have the issue. They would say the looting and rioting is peoples way of lashing out to get them to be taken seriously since trying to do it diplomatically hasnt worked...others in their ranks would say the looting is justified due to black people being taken adv of for years so taking adv of businesses who can recover most of it with insurance is just balancing the scale.
Ive thought hard about all this since it began and it goes like this for me...black people arent getting shot more than whites but they do get shot more for their population make up which is less than whites...ok so why? Because they have more interactions with cops...ok so why? Because they commit more violent crime...ok so why? Because the tend to live in more poverty stricken areas where crime is higher....ok so why? Many factors but chief among them no fathers in the home to help teach them how to be a man and have discipline, respect and restraint....ok so why? Because the Great Society programs and welfare pushed by LBJ and Democrats encouraged single parent homes. So where do we land? The source is poor outcomes that are created by a system put in place by government....aka systemic racism. So systemic racism has definitely affected people even to this day but we must shout it out DEMOCRATS CREATED SYSTEMIC RACISM....so for someone who comes to this conclusion the next question is why do all the people who want to end systemic racism want us to vote democrats? If you watch Thomas Sowell videos on the Irish and Italian, he talked about the Irish having similar problems as blacks but the Irish overcame this by going through the process of building human capital and dropping bad habits which affected them majorly like liquor stores addiction, etc. Blacks have huge political capital but they don't have human capital which affects a huge swarth of their community. Their political leaders know this and try to easily manipulate them.
Blacks had problems before the Integration and welfare state but they understood law and order. the Welfare state has brought out some of their worse qualities and removed the "law and order" aspect of society which makes them act out badly.
