Mask usage exists on a continuum, like a lot of things. There IS an appropriate time and place. And on the other end of the spectrum, there's the useless theatrics. At this stage, I'd estimate 80% of what we're seeing now is performative bullshit, born out of ignorance or far more malignant intent.
I'm in a state where there's no 'official' mandate, but a lot of businesses require them. While this isn't the hill I choose to die on, I'm done being 'compliant'. DONE.
