People watch stuff like sports to get away from the troubles of life, whether it be work, politics, whatever. Why did they decide to bring politics into sports?

Plus I saw some Reddit comments saying that only a sports are only "allowed" for a nation that has it's shit together. Like really, you are going to claim people do not deserve sports just because they are not voting the way you want them to? I am sure this is going to help your cause.
