This was filed by the public defender who was representing him. Might just be a legal move to buy time for legal reasons. He is being represented by a good law firm, pro bono.

I’ve seen this addressed elsewhere. This is the extradition hearing from IL to WI. Extradition will certainly be approved.

This is a move to allow passions to cool for a while and (hopefully) make his prosecution less political.
