O'Mally radically gerrymandered MD so that "Republicans can never get into power again" to quote him. He also passed a radical gun ban and a rain tax. This pissed off A LOT of people.

Hogan got his second term because Ben Jealous was gonna ban shotguns and bring forth socialism, reparations, free college and free healthcare.

Hogan brought a lot of good to MD just from vetoes alone. He has zero power in MD with the radical gerrymandering preventing republicans from mounting a defense against stupid bills.

But he's more of a centrist with some right leanings. But the people here call him a fascist sympathizer because Trump is in office and he's in the Republican Party.

To sum it up, It's retarded here.

Kentucky - The night of the November 5 election, NBC News and other major outlets called Beshear the "apparent winner" over incumbent Republican Governor Matt Bevin, though the Associated Press called the race "too close to call" with less than half a percent of the vote separating them. Beshear won by 0.37 percentage points, getting 49.20% of the vote to Bevin's 48.83%. Days later, Bevin had not conceded the race, claiming large-scale voting "irregularities" but not offering evidence. However, Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes' (D) office declared Beshear the winner.

Beshear was the son of a fomer Kentucky Governor. And Bevin had become pretty unpopular during his term, with approval in the 30's.
