Hey I’m on the SF Peninsula too. My wife doesn’t like me to wear MAGA gear either. And I’d rather avoid violent confrontations when I’m with my family (2 kids ) anyway. Instead I wear Patriotic clothes with the American flag.
I mostly subscribe to the 4 Rules of Stupid these Days:
The Rules of Stupid state that you should never (1) go to Stupid places, (2) with Stupid people, (3) at Stupid times, and (4) do Stupid things. You can usually get away with breaking one of the Rules of Stupid, but two or more really increase the odds of bad things happening.
I own some tools made by Juggernaut Tactical you know to keep my pew pews legit. So I bought two caps and two t-shirts to support them and I rock that gear along my patriotic gear and yeah! It sends a message. Also a nod to other pedes..
