A group of people armed and roaming the city is a roaming militia. Arguing it isn't when they are "a militia" and "roaming around town" to stop fires, protect people, is kind of silly.
I don't disagree on literally anything you described as the benefit they provided. They are heroes. Full stop.
One person from out of town makes it "a militia made up of people coming in to oppose the mostly peaceful protests" to the normies. This is the distinction that matters, the one normies make, not the one we discuss here.
Nightly clashes with MAGA militia will end up like Antifa vs Proud Boys. A "We just have to get rid of Trump to end this nonsense!" attitude by voters.
Does this mean local store owners will have to pull their friends together and individually play rooftop korean? YES.
Are local Dem store owners who hate guns, vote blue, and surrounded by cuck blue voter neighbors unwilling to help them, likely to be left fucked up the ass? YES.
It's all about the tactics and strategy, and that should be based on the reality of Nov 3rd.
Let the National Guard and Federal Agents go in. Let the local progressive store owners learn they should cherish their 2A rights.
Nov 4th, if the shit continues, we can run in and offer reinforcement imo.
Well, like I said, I'm split. Because a "roaming militia" saved lives in Kenosha.
Local Militias need to be used. Us organizing and sending people across the country like BLM and Antifa? We are not there yet, and would be used against us, likely to their benefit.
We need to protect our own neighborhoods/families/friends, but if BLM comes to your town and starts burning down churches and attacking unarmed elderly, would you tell people to stay home and let that continue? I doubt that.
If you live, say in Arizonia, should you go to DC or Portland to stop it happening there? That's a different story
I would never tell local people not to defend. Ever.
I think the areas they attack are relatively small metro areas. Store owners should play rooftop Korean with willing employees and friends. It gives them the best legal cover and the best public optics.
As far as locals forming roaming militias, I would not tell them to not form up, but I would argue it's probably the least effective and most dangerous way to repel what I would call invaders. I definetely would make sure only locals are used, and each squad has united store owners in the teams, and that they agree to police certain businesses that they represent if they have to do it.
The defense of businesses is much stronger if the actual business owners are part of the squads that want to run around a single block or two together. Move from ome business to the next as the attackers try to move from one to the next.
