An electoral victory that appears legitimate will give Trump cover to deal with the riots without triggering an open civil war. It won't be "over" on 11/4. It won't even be over by January. But at least we know that it won't be given a free hand, like it would if Biden won, or even worse, somehow they rein it in and it putters out like a fart in the wind as soon as Biden frauds his way into office, setting a precedent that the left will use from now on.
