I live in NY State. Governor Nipple Rings has mandated masks in public... Businesses are fined or closed that do not comply. I wear a mask in these retail stores or restaurants to support THEM. I do not where a mask anywhere else, but cannot, in good conscience put local businesses at risk. They've had it hard enough.
Also, if a retail store kicks you out for not wearing one? Sue them. There is no law in the penal code for mask mandates and that would be discrimination.
A store/restaurant has every right to deny access/service to anyone, at any time, for any reason. We are entitled to nothing on their property, and the government has no right to tell them otherwise. I know there are anti discrimination laws, but they're wrong, and need to go away.
If a store employee asks you to comply with their rules, or leave, if you stay, you are trespassing.
