This has been known for a while by physician groups in hospitals. Age and comorbidities always kills more people with relatively less lethal diseases.

75% of all the COVID deaths at our hospital were from one nursing home.

It's actually kind of predictable. In plenty of shithole countries, these nursing home people would have already died. They're always riding death's door, pissing themselves and getting UTIs with poor nutrition. I'm in no way making any sort of ethical claim here - just stating that any moderate illness would take them out en masse.

I've seen 2 just off duty medical assistants in their scrubs in the past week at the grocery store - neither wearing a mask. Caught my attention BIGLY. (I refuse to wear one)
