It's funny you mention gas because a few years ago I moved out of a metro area and into a more rural suburban area and I now commute. I absolutely refuse to buy gas there. I'll even fill up near home when I don't have to just to avoid the potential need to fill up in town. Fuck them and their tax base. I drive in, earn my salary, and take every cent back to where people love their country.

I’ve been avoiding Denver since the BLM stuff started ramping up. Lots of restaurants I love that I wanted to support since they reopened but I’m not about to put myself in a potentially dangerous situation when I don’t have to. Plenty of other restaurants I can go to instead where I know I can be safe. It sucks but it’s the reality right now. Better to be safe than sorry

I take a lot of cues from Trump. I've noticed lately that he seems very relaxed and not at all in a state of worry or panic. He's playing it very cool and not being bated by anyone. He knows this is a long game and we are witnessing massive change throughout the country. Indicators are showing huge shifts of support for him from Blacks and Hispanics. I also notice that mail-in ballots and that issue is subsiding. Something tells me they won't be able to overcome this wave with those tactics in isolated areas of the country. But things seem to change week by week and we're all watching closely.

I'm sorry for what has happened to your city. Portland had a great vibe about 20 years ago. Left leaning for sure, not necessarily 100% pure and healthy, but not overtly cancerous. I was surprised to see some Trump supporters who weren't even geared up in helmets, eye protection and bulletproof vests.
