I feel your pain. I started a business and invested most of what I had. Then covid hit and my blue governor crushed our chances of staying alive. I have too much pride to take unemployment and have sold most of what I own to pay bills while looking for a job.

If your business has been burned, you stand to gain a lot more than what you've lost in the long run. My advice, don't be afraid to ask for help and direction. A lot of great people here with expertise across the board. I would start by contacting a great attorney and building a network of local businesses to sue the state leadership.

The last thing we need is some group or person to go rogue and give the media what they want. It won't help anyone. The blue leaders will stay in control and will take every step possible to bury opposition.

If we let them eat themselves, a red wave will hit and our Patriot business owners impacted by the terrorist will see settlement compensation. You may even have the opportunity to sue those funding this mess.

Let me know if I can help in anyway. I'm not the smartest guy or best at what I do, but i will do what i can to help.

I have too much pride to take unemployment

While you were employed, you and your employer were paying into unemployment insurance for an occasion like this. You did not have a choice. Use it for its intended purpose.

Exactly this. It's insurance, not welfare. That would be like saying you're too proud to take social security.
