I haven't seen a single indication from residents of Portland that they see the rioting as anything other as an eccentric nuisance as worse. Most of what I've seen is that they're weirdly proud of the rioting. That even includes the victim of Marquis Love's kick that almost immediately endorsed BLM when he was released from the hospital.
Friend from Portland said it's mostly along just two or three downtown blocks. Thankfully most people can stay away/safe from the rioting if they choose to
I talked to a friend from Portland this weekend. She said that locals are just avoiding the areas where antifa is operating. They just consider it a mild inconvenience. My friend is a Marxist and she was defensive right off the bat and I barely brought it up. Like people have been saying, Portland voted for this and they are a-okay with having antifa operate in their city.
I don't think my friend in Portland is going to be talking to me for a while. We weren't ever that close to begin with. It just happened that I was at the same house she was at a party this weekend.

Ugh yeah. Friend I heard from is also a lefty and seems to be trying to rationalize it. Wonder what he’ll say after last nights incident
