You can’t protect yourself with a $20 so you made a wise choice.

Invest in precious metals... Buy lead and copper.

9
MemeVendor 9 points ago +9 / -0

This. What real value do gold and silver have when the SHTF? To me, guns, ammo, and supplies will retain more value than shiny metal.

I once read an account of someone who lived through the Bosnian civil war. He said a case of disposable lighters is actually one of the best TEOTWAWKI investments you can make.

5
HumanSomewhere 5 points ago +5 / -0

yeah i mean, imagine the dollar has lost all its value and you're having to scrabble to survive.

someone walks up to you with a 1-oz silver coin, currently worth about $28

he tries to trade this to you in exchange for food that is, today, worth $28. which is like 30 cans of spaghettios, or cans of veggies. Spam is about $3/can. Ain't nobody trading like 2 weeks forth of food for a silver coin, you kiddin' me? No, the best thing to do is to use that money TODAY for goods that are still very cheap for what they are.

Ammo is expensive as hell right now though. I have probably 2k rounds of 5.56, maybe 1200 9mm, 500 12 gauge buckshot, and probably 20k or more 22LR, but I would feel more comfortable with about twice that. Hoping it's enough.

Next time someone asks "what are the first 4 guns I should buy for personal/family protection?" I will show them this picture. Well done.

Mr. Mossberg is not my attorney but he is very dear to my family still.

6

I see an S15 peeking out the bottom of that G43X. This dude fucks.

aangler100 2 points ago +2 / -0

oh, OH! I didn't know the s15 existed.

1
txladyvoter 1 point ago +1 / -0

It does. You want a few if you have a G43X or a G48.

9
caferrell2 9 points ago +9 / -0

There is nothing better for home defense than a 12 gauge shotgun. Good choice!

13
maddog_dad 13 points ago +13 / -0

Maybe a moat full of alligators, but a 12ga is way more practical and less expensive to feed. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

11
duallyford 11 points ago +11 / -0

With today's ammo prices, alligators are a viable alternative.

6
maddog_dad 6 points ago +6 / -0

True, true.

6
wiombims 6 points ago +6 / -0

Each adult alligator needs only about one chicken every year to survive. You can still buy 12ga shells and .270/30-06 even when you can't find chicken in the store. Don't let your memes stay dreams!

maddog_dad 8 points ago +8 / -0

I was thinking one BLM/Antifa peaceful protestor would probably feed a herd of gators for a while.

8
Doochebag 8 points ago +8 / -0

This is the way...

6
majorelint 6 points ago +7 / -1

Now find yourself a range and get some training.

6
ICantREEEE 6 points ago +6 / -0

Haha good for you. Is that a Bersa Thunder? That was one of my first handguns, sort of a love/hate relationship with mine after all these years.

4
Vegans4Trump 4 points ago +4 / -0

Same here, mine took a chunk of my nail off the other day. Still love it though

4
ICantREEEE 4 points ago +4 / -0

You know... for being labeled as one of the SAFEST guns around, its really not lol. Having three safeties plus decocker means little to the actual experiences that I've seen myself and heard about from these little guys.

Also very uncomfortable IWB due to that hammer. I switched to a performance center shield 2.0 and haven't looked back.

But would I sell it??? Probably never

3
Vegans4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah, I really like mine but not sure if I'd feel comfortable using it as a CCW. Still a good quality and nice looking gun though. Don't think I would sell mine either. Gotta have a nice .380 around

5
tucker2020 5 points ago +5 / -0

Excellent choice of shotgun

5

Nice start! The hammer fired pistol - what is it?

3
aangler100 3 points ago +3 / -0

Bersa, a real nice choice.

4
Gunmolester 4 points ago +4 / -0

Thats a nice starter kit

4
Dudemanfoo 4 points ago +4 / -0

Cool fact tho...

Now you have a MUCH higher chance of keeping the money you have left!!!!

(with an awesome side of keeping freedom to boot)

4
Hugh 4 points ago +4 / -0

The thing is, guns don't really lose value. So you still have just as much money. It's just money held in guns rather than cash.

4
masculinist 4 points ago +4 / -0

A rifle chambered in 22 lr would complete the set. Can’t beat $.04/rd for learning and hunting small game.

3
dethstouch1482 3 points ago +3 / -0

May i suggest the Henry Lever action .22. Fun gun, shoots straight. cheap ammo.

Ruger 10/22 and a Mark4 22/45 or standard. Every American home should have them.

Picked up 525 rounds of Federal for about $23.

3
Strike_Eagle784 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lol happened to me too. Started the year with none, and now I'm at 5 guns. In the near future I want to get a Garand. Its such a fun hobby though, and is worth every cent you put into it.

mikethemarine 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nice items, but now comes the hard part, do you have any rounds?? I red pilled a friend and him and his wife finally broke down and got a 9mm plus 100 rounds from one of their relatives, the funny part is they checked to get more rounds and found that FMJ's where even hard to come by and were going for as high as 50-60 dollars a box so a group of us each gave them 2 boxes each at our original cost, a couple of ex-police officers even gave some self defense rounds not for practice. Good luck on finding reasonable rounds for your weapons, we informed them to reload their practice rounds, but reload material is getting hard to hind also, with munitions getting scarce somethings about to happen !!!!

3
mikethemarine 3 points ago +3 / -0

Be careful buying rounds for your AR , make sure it will take 5.56 it should be stamped on the barrel, If it will take 5.56 it will also take 223, but 223 will not take 5.56 you will have jam problems cause the 5.56 is a little longer

2
SpezDispenser 2 points ago +2 / -0

Just bought my 2nd yesterday. Probably buying 1 every 1-2 months through 2021.

Stopping at a half a dozen handguns, a shotgun and an ar or two.

Love the Bersa T380C on the bottom right, very reliable for the price and makes a great EDC. Now if I could just find ammo for it on the other hand.

2
On3_Eyed_7ack 2 points ago +2 / -0

Less money is an unfortunate effect of owning firearms.

1
Suckma1 1 point ago +1 / -0

Totally worth it. Well done.

1
popcycle 1 point ago +1 / -0

nice, very nice.

you are going to want to get really familiar with handling that shotgun, so may i recommend getting a membership at the local skeet club? lots of fun blasting clay to bits and you'll meet a lot of great people.

granted that your mossberg is short barrelled and some clubs won't allow that, so call and ask first. you could even get the local gun shop to put a poly choke on it. our lgs has been doing those for a lot of people, it makes a useful multipurpose gun. defense and fun and don't forget the cooking pot!

and also granted that there used to be skeet snobs who would give you strange looks for bringing anything remotely "tactical" but i should hope that they have dropped that prejudice at this point, considering what is going on in the world today.

any gun you own is like any tool you own, if you want the handling of that tool to become like second nature you have to use it a lot. might as well have fun while doing it!

besides, the world isn't always going to be this grim, and you'll have a new sport and never want to watch the NFL again...

Lindsaygrahamblows -3 points ago +1 / -4

Cool. Now stop taking pictures of them and learn how to properly shoot them and clean them. You’re by no means an expert and in my opinion you’re dangerous. Just like everyone else was when they first bought there’s. Go shoot! And shoot and shoot!! You’ll enjoy it I promise. They do no good to anyone if you just look at them. It’s a tool. Enjoy my man!
