I trust President Trump. He's an amazing strategist. When Dem managed populations call on him to end the violence, I think he will invoke the insurrection act. But not until enough citizens call for it. He is not the authoritarian they claim.
My main concern is the opposite of what the Dems thought of back in 2016. They act like he's ALWAYS going to be in office (for whatever bizarre reason). I'm more concerned with what happens even if he gets reelected seeing as he WON'T be in office forever (because I'm sane and realize this).
We have 4 more years of him in office, but the radicals won't go away. They're different than just the ones who were caught up in an echo chamber and are slowly waking up. The radicals will still be in schools indoctrinating kids, HR positions to destroy employee lives, colleges will still teach identitarian politics and put out bunk "research" talking about 57 genders, the court system is still infected with activist judges refusing to uphold the constitution, and so on.
The virus has spread to vital parts of our society that can't be repaired. Once Trump gets reelected, what's he supposed to do about such a widespread infection? It takes a LOT to add an amendment or adjustment to the first that would expand freedom of speech to include protections for political views and would need further expansion to specify protection from not just the government, but all corporations and the like (shut down big tech censorship). 4 more years of Trump will be great for the economy, but I don't see how it'll positively impact us in the long-game with the culture war. I don't feel that the optics of what is going on is enough to damage Democrat/progressive ideals and their affects to end their movement in any significant way.

You're welcome. I share everyone's frustration, but I also have made enough mistakes in my past that I know what acting without thinking leads. We all need to work together to get past this. People on the right are often isolated--intentionally so, the left owns the institutions and wants us to feel alone. But we aren't alone. That's why TD.win is so great--it's a place to vent, but also a place to calm ourselves. No matter what happens, if we keep our heads level, we will have an advantage. Fight smarter. The US has survived worse than this. I believe Trump when he says our best days are still ahead.
I understand the need to vent, but if voting truly doesn't matter, then America is already dead. And we don't know if that's the case until we get actual proof. Right now, we just all have suspicions. That's not proof.

We literally do not know what will happen because it has not happened yet. It's only about 60 days away. All we need to do is wait 2 months--or more accurately, prepare for 2 months. I trust President Trump. He's an amazing strategist. When Dem managed populations call on him to end the violence, I think he will invoke the insurrection act. But not until enough citizens call for it. He is not the authoritarian they claim.
My main concern is the opposite of what the Dems thought of back in 2016. They act like he's ALWAYS going to be in office (for whatever bizarre reason). I'm more concerned with what happens even if he gets reelected seeing as he WON'T be in office forever (because I'm sane and realize this).

The radicals will still be in schools indoctrinating kids, HR positions to destroy employee lives, colleges will still teach identitarian politics and put out bunk "research" talking about 57 genders, the court system is still infected with activist judges refusing to uphold the constitution, and so on.
The virus has spread to vital parts of our society that can't be repaired. Once Trump gets reelected, what's he supposed to do about such a widespread infection? It takes a LOT to add an amendment or adjustment to the first that would expand freedom of speech to include protections for political views and would need further expansion to specify protection from not just the government, but all corporations and the like (shut down big tech censorship). 4 more years of Trump will be great for the economy, but I don't see how it'll positively impact us in the long-game with the culture war. I don't feel that the optics of what is going on is enough to damage Democrat/progressive ideals and their affects to end their movement in any significant way.
