You are exactly right. This is a weekly report from the CDC. It was news the first time it was published, but should be well-known by anybody that has been following this. Also, they are NOT saying that only 6% of deaths had COVID...only that 94% had comorbidities. We already knew that, too. This is not even news. Further, we already knew the average age of COVID deaths is higher than life expectancy. This data has been published every week, and these facts have been reflected in that data from the start.
The problem we have right now is that nobody on the left or in the media wants to amplify these facts. Everybody should be fighting any lockdown & mask requirements like crazy.
I've been a regular to the CDC site. I didn't notice this 6% figure until Late July.
They did add it to the original. I could be wrong, I'm getting older and my memory sometimes fails me, maybe someone has an archive from around May timeframe?
Let's not look dumb. CDC has been publishing like this since about April.
It took a while for people to notice, because the stats are presented in a confusing manner.

It only kills people who have lived longer than life expectancy and already have multiple medical conditions.
