2 of the most sleezy night clubs in my town just reopened as a “Cafe” offering coffee and microwaved burritos in order to get in, then it’s a bar. I’ve been telling my friends who own bars to do this for months instead of whining about how people need to “wear a mask so our gov can move us into phase 3.” Meanwhile all restaurants are basically bars after 7pm and raking in the revenue while these guys go under. I’d be damned if I’d allow myself to be put out of business by some nasty bar food joint where nobody orders the wings only drinks and I remained closed. They’re pussies, if business owners would join together and just reopen, then sue if fined, we’d be in much better shape. I know a guy who spent 6 months trying to get a liquor license for his bottle shop, spent thousands, renewed it earlier this year and after the 2 week lockdown was extended to 6 months just gave it all up so he could at least open as a bottle shop.
Hey... when you make your title, can you either a) be more specific so we can drill into the conclusion or b) take a screenshot of the graph that shows this distinction?
I interpreted it as hyperbole that he concluded that: you're more likely to die in the bathtub based on the deaths of chinese virus which he shows in the link.
I would like to know the actual number. Last week was almost exactly 400 Covid Deaths (Incidentally, 448 Americans are born every HOUR, for comparison.) So how about Bathtub Deaths? I've been searching, and it's a curiously difficult statistic to find, slipping in the bathtub. It seems around 350 Bathtub Drownings every year, but nobody's willing to share catastrophic injury numbers so I can add it to that.
