Boss worked for him at trump national golf club DC. Apparently he would come around once a month and take a ride on the cart with the head greens keeper. Would ask him who was working the best on the grounds crew and take the time to tip each guy who had been killing it as of late. Such a great man to the blue collar folk.
I believe I recall hearing years ago him talking about while he doesn't use cash for anything, he does keep "a little something" on his person for things like tipping people. That's probably exactly what it is.
