I was strongly considering moving to Seattle and locating a business there - definitely not in the cards now. I'll find a place that enjoys the idea of me employing members of the community and won't protect people that want to burn my property to the ground. And Portland? I'd sooner go completely off the grid and move to middle of nowhere Alaska than take a high-rise condo in that hellhole. My faith in that place is at an absolute rock bottom. I think Detroit has a better chance at becoming a thriving and wonderful city again before Portland even begins to embrace sanity.
I visited Seattle and San Francisco. Even met with real estate agents. So thankful we didn't do it.
