I don't know what the GOP is doing. Not privvy to insider information on our side.
My guess is they're working on it.
I want to do my part here and get as many Pedes as I possibly can signed up since I'm not the door knocker or phone bank type (haha)
Why don't we just register as a Democrat poll worker.
You can do that, but in many counties there is a requirement for reps from different parties to work the polls.
My guess is that for example in heavy blue areas if not enough Repubs register to work, they slot in more Dems.

I have a friend in SC who got a text from a Dem poll worker offering to help get him re-registered in Michigan where he used to live quite a few years ago.

And probable fuckery afoot. Check and recheck your registration. I checked mine again here in Tennessee and what do you know? They can't find a record of me (first time previously, not found, registered online, waited still not found) even though they've sent me a physical registration card in the mail but only AFTER I mailed in an actual form (after 2nd time not being found and registering again online). This is my fourth time checking my registration verification and they've no record of me again...
Question...can I poll watch if I live in a state I'm not a resident of?

Their get out the vote operations require face to face and door to door voter outreach. Their campaigns are built around this, partially. Without that type of human to human contact they are going to have to rely solely on tech censorship, big media ads, and other things they generally suck balls at.

I’m signing up in MI. What positions do we want to prioritize? I’m leaning toward applying for the ballot counting and integrity roles but maybe just having a friendly face at the poll check-in might help more?

I wish I was old enough but I can't vote yet so I doubt I could be a poll worker. People who can, please consider doing so. We're quite literally fighting to keep our nation from falling into communism. Hopefully, the mass of #walkaway's going on will push back much of the voter fraud going on. Also, contact state elected officials to demand they investigate voter fraud in their state.
Actually there are many states that have programs for students who want to work the polls!

well yeah I know reddit has it but I Haven't seen that function here yet. maybe it's a planned feature for the forum and hope it is. I should also add that I haven't received correspondence back from the board of elections only that I applied although I'll take whatever assignment they need.
These are the people who will find boxes of ballots in their car a week after the election. So yeah; sign up so they cannot take the job. I think the person with the title "judge" is in charge. They should pick who drops off the ballots (re: do it yourself).
There are ballot running jobs available. I have no idea what that job entails but I can take a guess!
Forever ago (30 years) I volunteered to be a polling place judge in California. I was in charge and the team had to deliver the ballots (no outside runner). I chose to do it myself. So between time and different policies ymmv.

I think you need international observers. Get them from somewhere like Switzerland who are "neutral" but based.
