If you don't already own an AR, or any weapon that is on the short list to be banned if the Dems have their way, you'll want to purchase one before 2021 because lowers won't be had after that if another national ban is put in place. Completes are scarce, but lowers are in stock and that's the regulated part that you won't be able to purchase after a ban. Also, if money is an issue the lower is only a small fraction of the complete. I'd buy 2-3 lowers before I built a complete at this time if I didn't already own a bunch. Ammo is also a huge issue for newcomers, I'm still firing off ammo from 10 years ago.

Possibly they will do the CT thing. Turn in or proof of destroy. Deadline. Automatically a felon. You'll have to bury it in backyard, can't take it out, millstone around your neck. IF for any reason they find you with it, you're going to jail.

This is what you redpill those who are trying to buy guns right now. Give them the CT example.

I want to do this but just can't pull the trigger on these prices even for stripped lowers. If those 5-10 packs deals were still in stock I would've been all over them.
