I love it how you assume that someone without a gun cannot be a conservative.

I know lots of conservatives without guns. They overwhelmingly come from liberal strongholds and were taught guns are bad from a very young age.

Some people cannot be taught how to safely handle guns because so much of what they know just is not true. As Frederick Douglas said "It is easier to raise strong children than to fix broken men."

Yes, but what I also mean is that if you yourself decide not to have guns that doesn't disqualify you from being a conservative.

After all one pays taxes and this entitles to government protection. Why else do we pay taxes?

Correct, political beliefs are not predicated on property ownership (guns).

The purpose of our government is to secure the rights of the individual. It would appear that Pelosi sees herself in a very different role.
