It is not 'great'. But people like it. A guy I know went into it. I had no idea the crap they have to go through to do some of those crazy stunts they pull off. He was making semi OK money for a while doing it (playing both bad guy and good guy). But he landed wrong jumping off the corner and blew out his ankle. That was the end of it. My respect for what they do changed fairly radically once I saw the training sessions. To learn to suplex someone without breaking their spine for real takes time and training on both participants.
I like you do not rally 'get it' and never really have. I am not going to judge them for that. I like cheeseball scifi and action movies. Some people do not get that. Much like I do not get people who like horror movies.

I'm not sure the WWE is that liberal. Some of the biggest stars are Republican I think. Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, etc.
