This is why women always seem out assholes instead of nice guys. Nice guys seem weak, not an asshole is at least strong enough to protect her, if he feels like it. It's why we need confident, strong, good men more now than ever; to reinforce proper gender relations and rebuild this shattered generation.
The problem is that what they really want is a confident and assertive guy. Sometimes that can be mistaken for an asshole, or sometimes they can't distinguish between the two themselves and go for the asshole. In a world of weak beta soybois and/or assholes, be the confident and assertive male.
Seconded. My gf will tease me because I can be a bit of a dick and can be confrontational, but she also knows that the second someone tries to harm one of us, they're screwed. She knows that I have zero chance of cucking for some retard and it keeps things smooth in our home life.
Haha, yup. And my fiancee can hold her own, too. She's incredibly tough for a small framed girl no taller than 5 feet. There's certain things where I more just don't give a shit, and she'll be the asshole in that case (for instance: I get wrong order at a restaurant, but it's something I like, so I'll just eat it so I don't have to wait, worry about pissing off a line-cook ready to drop a loogie, etc. But she won't have it, and will essentially get us a free meal, gift cards, apologies, etc lol). She's cool like that, but sometimes I almost have to tame her. We had a washer/dryer show up 2 weeks late, and when she called customer service, she was so pissed that she was being too much an ass for it to work out productively, telling the person to learn to speak english and whatnot. It was hilarious, but not helping us get our shit any faster. So I had to step in, and be more assertive, but less douchey, pointing out everything the company did wrong, why it being late was unacceptable, that I wanted a discount, and that the discount was going to grow by x% for each day it wasn't there. Long story short, it arrived the next day. Just stuff like that. Love this girl! lol
But the bigger, and more dangerous scenarios: that's all me. Like when someone smashed her (parked) car, pushing it into my (parked) car. I lost my mind (because someone had already hit my BRAND NEW car a week earlier when parked outside my home, so I was FURIOUS). White paint on everything, so I went into white-trash mode (acceptable in the city we were in at the time) and was angrily walking around my neighborhood, no shirt on with my concealed firearm slightly exposed, checking out every white car and looking for paint (the color of our cars) in the appropriate areas. Not sure I've ever been angrier, other than the time someone tried breaking into that same house of ours (my fiancee initially went down, because she things she's like 7 feet apparently, or didn't fully realize what was happening lol) and I had to force her upstairs and take care of it myself.
But ultimately, it's just putting my foot down when she's wrong, throwing a tantrum, being nasty to me for no reason... just stuff like that. She'll get mad at me for something stupid, and I typically start by just demanding an apology. Often she won't even admit she did anything wrong, and I'll go into asshole mode to get her to understand her role in whatever it is we're arguing about. At the end of the day, I've found most arguments can be averted by just choosing where we're going out to eat, or what I'm going to cook (I'm a foodie and just enjoy cooking, so I do about 75% of the cooking, and she cooks when she knows I'm too busy and/or stressed to deal w/ it) because anytime I ask her to choose dinner, it somehow ends up in a massive fight lol
Well it's like, choose between the guy who treats you like property but keeps you fed, safe, and relatively comfortable... or the guy who treats you like an equal but who immediately dies to the first threat, and then you're the property of the raping slaver who kicked down the door and slapped your previously saintly, but weak, husband to death.
Not saying it's a GOOD choice, but historically it has made sense, and been bred into those genes. Just like how Violence is a part of the human psyche because as long as we've been scrabbling around on this rock, it's been necessary to occasionally use it to survive.

So much this. I also know a girl who was consistently anti-Trump. She knew about all the corruption and lies from the left but she didn't seem to care. It was very odd to me.
