I appreciate the tip, but... I've been struggling with IBS my whole life, and Miralax has worked better than anything else (for me). The issue was that I had ran out for nearly a week, so getting out of that routine that keeps me regular ended up really screwing my shit up (literally) lol. If I miss for a long period, I essentially have to take a lot for a few days until I'm good. And then once I'm good, all I need is like, 1/8 to 1/4 of a cap/dose in my morning coffee to keep me regular. Even the strongest laxatives, milk of magnesium or magnesium citrate or w/e don't work for me -- they just give me the feeling of having to go, without making me go, which then leads to excruciating cramps and pain lol. Miralax (again, for me) has been a lifesaver, so long as my dumbass can stick to the schedule that works lol
