I'm red-pilling some people, but they are claiming they saw on a video the Trump supporter sprayed stuff on the shooter (mace, whatever). Has this been confirmed or debunked?

Honest answer, it doesn't matter.

Guy approaches you aggressively and has gun in hand as the shooter did, if all I had was spray, I'd spray, which may have been the case. Was murdered either way.

He sprayed before the shots were fired however, the shooters arms were extended in his direction in a shooting stance first. You can't see the gun in the video but you can tell by the stance that the shooter was pointing the weapon before the mace was sprayed. You can also tell the gun was pointed before the victim raised his hand to use the mace. It's also worth pointing out that the shooter crossed the street towards the victim and not vice versa.

Doesnt matter, really. Non lethal force needs to be met with non lethal force.

So, if I mace you you can punch me. You cannot shoot me.

If they think that justifies use of lethal force then ask them how they'd feel about police killing protesters using mace.

The shots happen so fast after the spray it's basically simultaneous to it. There is no way the shooter was able to draw his weapon that fast after the guy sprayed. Most likely scenario is Jay saw the shooter with gun in hand and sprayed mace trying to defend himself.
