the predictability is real. i don't believe it is all drugs and porn though these may play some role, social media programming is the true culprit.
the 'share' modality provides canned positions, easy to redistribute. the left's tendency to cancellation on all levels (unfriending/unfollowing is personal cancellation) keeps the friend groups cohesive.

imagine the long term mental effect of seeing all these canned positions expressed by friends. the human brain did not evolve for this magnitude of disinformation. without a wakeful, active consciousness to evaluate each for truth, the subconscious tendency is to believe that these are all real positions held by these other people.
but as we have just seen, they may not be. but this does not effect the system in the least.
now suppose some lefty recipient is just slightly aware enough to question the received wisdom of the internet. suppose they make a comment 'not sure i agree with this, i have 2 kids and the house next door is currently being burned down by antifa'
