I understand that well... the point here is that the numbers were made to be worse than they actually were for every day citizens. The fear-mongering of healthy citizens was criminal.

Please understand that it doesn't mean that covid didn't kill other people who had comorbidities.

The numbers are without a doubt inflated but a sizable portion of the other fatalities were due to covid, these people were just much weaker than your average healthy individual to defend from it.

Wife is MD. She's had 8 fatalities at her practice.

Yes, but that's how sick people die in general. You go to the hospital with a some serious illness, you get infected by something else and you die from the complications because your body was very weak. Some people from this pool may have died because the "something" happened to be Covid. Which is to be expected. The serious (in terms of how dangerous the virus is) part is about those who basically didn't have a serious preexisting condition.
