I've been mulling this over in my head today and here is my opinion. Gaige Grosskreutz was not carrying a real gun that night.
He had the prime position to kill Kyle after Skate-N-Die took a bullet to the chest. Kyle was in the inferior position weapon not trained on Arm-man. Arm-man instead of simply pointing and shooting cowered and then decided to charge at Kyle.
Now my buddy thinks maybe the dude was an idiot and I'm willing to concede that point as plausible. It just doesn't make sense since he was chasing him down and had every opportunity and was tactically (in my opinion) in a superior position to end Kyle.
I'm reminded of that scene in Snatch with the replica gun.
If I am armed with a fake gun and attacking a guy on the ground who has a very real AR, why would I draw my fake, useless gun instead of proceeding to go for the AR with both hands?
I can't figure out why he would physically charge Kyle if he had a real gun and had the advantage to put one in Kyle's face. He just ran in and got lit up. Didn't even raise his gun to fire.
Then I think we are watching two different movies on the same screen, as Scott Adams says.
I see him draw, approach for the coup de grace, raising the gun up aiming for Kyle’s head. Then he takes one to the arm.
I never saw him draw, the gun seemed in his hand the entire time on my screening. I don't understand his physical movement forward after the cowering position. I'd agree if he brought his right hand down and his left hand up for the aim/fire but instead his gangley ass runs forward arms flapping outward.
Like I said: Two movies, same screen.
And I don’t know why someone downvoted your comment.
