Exactly, everyone needs to realize that every thread on Facebook or comment section in youtube or instagram ect. its not just about the person you are replying to, there is ALWAYS an audience of however many people just reading and not replying. THIS is who its really for.
Just be polite, to the point, and dont get taken off course. If they see one person calmly saying "No that isnt true, heres proof that x happened" and the other person is having a shit fit saying "SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU [insert political insult] THATS JUST PROPAGANDA!" They will by default believe the calm one and think the other person is just some unhinged loon

Been doing just that in YouTube comment sections going on 3 months now. I think i actually managed to convince a liberal or 2 to change their mind about the riots WAY early on! (Hence why i made this https://thedonald.win/p/GvB2ezdI/psa-not-all-liberals-are-too-far/c/)
