Fox News (3 million) Rush (am Radio domination, no access to Cable, TV, almost nothing Online) Breitbart and the other RightWIng outlets - polarized by the Left....
We need a healthy dose of trust-busting legislation. I am not sure is there is a solution to monopolies or oligarchies within an unregulated capitalist system, but some gov't intervention may be an answer.
Yeah, my mom and grandma KNOW the MSM is all lies, feel repulsed by it, and yet for some reason STILL tune in every day and evening. It’s just something their generation is used to. The local news is part of your day and the evening broader news shows is how you start your evening.
I also used to be like that, not realizing it was all lies even though it always made me angry as a life-long conservative.
I replaced that habit by watching news I CHOOSE, on Youtube. I can put it on at evening news time and it's more rewarding, because I pick what I want to watch.
Also, many of the Conservative voices are parroting the left's talking points on the false narratives of Floyd and other "innocent black person killed by racist cops".
Every day on their shows, the Hannity's and Rush's and others say multiple times, "what happened to Floyd should never happen again" and "we do need change in policing".
What happened to Floyd is he killed himself with drugs. Blake was shot after arriving to beat or rape his gf, he attacked cops, brandished a knife, reached for another weapon, shrugged off being tazed, was hyped up on drugs.
When even people on the right parrot the false narratives, it fuels the left's actions.
All of them also use madlibs style news. They get their 'news' from wire services that pre can the junk. They then fill in the blanks to make it look like they came up with it. Conan does a roast on it every few years. The pre-canned stuff comes with powerpoints, vids, interviews pre written answers already pre vetted. Some are as blatant as the 'news anchor' reads the questions. The person being interviewed answers. What they leave out is that interview happened 2 days ago with someone else and they just switch out who is asking the same questions. It is all lies or opinion op-ed pieces. All of it.

The facts don't matter. His family hired a doctor to perform another "autopsy". He examined the video to find the cops "murdered" Floyd.
There was only one autopsy performed.... only one.
The other doctor NEVER SAW THE BODY...

All we get from the loudest conservative voices is, "what happened to Brown should never happen to anyone, but most cops aren't bad cops."
The cop who shot Brown acted in a heroic manner that day. Hannity won't say it. None of the conservative talkers will say it.
