The militant left are far more willing to use violence but they're not very good at it.

Three of their hardass ex-cons just lost to a high school kid. A few weeks ago, one of their "ex-military badasses" got clapped by a fucking Uber driver who brought a pistol to a rifle fight. Their "Not Fucking Around Coalition" managed to win a few friendly fire incidents due to unmitigated fucking around. It's fucking embarassing how incompetent America's criminal shitstains generally are at delivering violence; they're only as successful as they are because they usually select victims who are even worse at it.

The militants on the right are the sort of people who have the skills and knowledge to make the IRA look like the Little League team, but they'd really rather not until they absolutely have to. When it gets to that point it's not going to matter how many of the Black Bloc types are armed or how many sympathizers they have in the media and government.
