National means the entire nation, i.e. Federal government. Nationalized is objectively wrong and it’s stupid to argue otherwise. Language is important.

'Nationalized' means the state owns it regardless of which line you use for the expenditure.

Not according to Merriam-Webster, the de facto dictionary of American English.

The divide between Federal, state, and local governments in the U.S. is so distinct that the difference is incredibly important.

Use the right tool for the job. We are not the left.
