Every station has a DELAY button they can hit to loop a live broadcast a few seconds. They use it during the Super Bowl when a player gets hit hard and a field mic records a curse word. That way the word doesn't go out.

Or in this case, where a dementia candidate has a false start and needs to be rebooted.

When was the last time you’ve seen a video skip like that? I’ve had old CD’s with A scratch on them that would do this... but LIVE TV? This didn’t even look like when my satellite tv glitches from rain storms.

I've never seen that before. Reminded me of a record album (some of the older pedes would know what I'm talking about) I think it may have been pre-recorded. There was obviously no one there. No applause before, during or after his speech.

Ok now I'm really beginning to think this was prerecorded! This happened on every media outlet showing this. It was clearly a single video that was sent out to the networks!
