Not really a meme or witty comment from me here, just getting a bit exhausting with the identity politics going on and wanted to get this off my chest.

I got an email from my grad school about how the the child rapist Jacob and how some students might be triggered about how he got shot (not enough times if you ask me). Then how the Grievance Studies (aka africana) department got revitalized and has more faculty coming to them. What about the other STEM departments that are hurting for funding? Yet they feel the need to give/launder money to a dying field with topics even less useful then fucking feminist studies?!

Then I get another email from the chemical society I'm in about how we chemists need to be more fucking diverse. How some reactions should have more black names. How about make a fucking discovery and maybe you'll get shit named after you. Dumb fucking PR 'diversity' department move, but it made me lose a lot of respect for not only this, but any other scientist that refuses to look at all evidence. Makes me think any work they have done is also full of biases and wrong conclusions.

This might sound a bit ranty, but I'm just getting exhausted. All because my political beliefs are simply 'Don't lie to me and don't be a hypocrite.' It's simple, yet you'd be surprised how many lefty colleagues get upset by this. I'll be voting Trump simply because he is the first political figure in a very long time that holds up these ideals to me.
