I highly recommend the SIG Romeo7 full size red-dot though. Fantastic accuracy for those close quarter engagements

Get yourself some eye-lasers! Fixed that problem for me!

How's Jean Grey doing?

I would in a split second but my vision is otherwise not bad enough to justify it.

I only needed 0.5 and 1.0 corrective glasses for nearsightedness but they had huge corrections for my astigmatism.

Open both eyes, zero to that.

Doesn't really help shrug. I practice with both eyes open anyway.

If that doesn’t work, or you are using a red dot on a hand gun, do some research on a Merit Optical Attachment. It’s about $60 and can attach to your prescription glasses or regular safety glasses.

I can’t speak to the practicality of it, but it's something I will also look into as my eyesight gets worse with age.

Try raising only the rear sight and look through that with dominant eye only. I’m gonna find a work around for you, fellow patriot.

Prism scopes my dude. The Primary Arms ACSS reticle is awesome. I have one for my AR, and I'll be getting a second for my AK.

Chinese junk!

Leopold VXR Patrol

All that is good about a red dot (easy to see/use in low light, close range).

All that is good about a traditional magnification scope (ballistic drop compensation reticle even without batteries, 1.5x-4x magnification).

In one 100% USA designed, machined, assembled and packaged optic.

Call it junk if you want, but it fits my needs fine. I really don't have a reason to drop $700 on an optic, but I'm sure it's excellent.

Plan to give something like that a go.

I've been researching these, I'm thinking of the 2x mag version. Must be awesome scopes if you're buying 2.

I mean, I'm just one random dude on the internet. Definitely do your own research and draw your own conclusions.

In his defense, it wasn't his rifle.

......which makes the whole things that much more amazing if you think about it.

Especially with needing to clear a jam while an attacker is pulling a gun on you

I've seen others state that he cleared a jam. Could you provide a link or describe at what instance it occurred? I've seen the available video clips and I can't spot it.

/edit Was it between turning skater bois heart into hamburger and ablating "MEDIC"s lower bicep?
