I would argue that. I played around a lot this weekend with my new sling. I hate single point. Hit me in the junk every fucking time I tried to get to my sidearm. With it setup in a 2 point, I can move the rifle to fire with no issues and move it to the side with no issues.
Regardless of what works for you, get a real sling that will hold when someone is trying to take your weapon away. I picked up 2 cheap ones from Amazon for a plastic stock 10/22 AR style build and I don't even trust them for that!
