What are you going to use the rifle for? I've got both, and if it's just for hunting, I'd probably keep the '06, just because the AR10 is probably going to be a lot heavier depending on what you use in the build. Depends on the type of hunting you're doing: if you're just sitting in a treestand back east somewhere then it's fine, but if you're out west hiking all over the mountains looking for elk then you might not want to carry it around. I love mine though and I do take it hunting sometimes, so as long as you're willing to carry that beast then have at it!
Hunting and shit hits the fan. Only like 8 days a season am I really going through some backwoods north Idaho shit (elk season) rest of the time it’s road hunting from a SxS or sitting on a deck drinking coffee waiting for a doe to come off the hill to destroy my friends garden. I got my girl a .308 savage so if I need to use something lighter I have it access to it. But I also have a weight limit on what rifle I can hunt with in Idaho including optic so the Barrett .50 with the Nightforce is not an option.
All of that sounds like a...blast (I'm sorry haha). My AR-10 has a 22" heavy barrel on it and it's super accurate, but it weighs almost 13 lbs loaded. You could probably get one down to 7 or 8 pounds if you were careful about what you put on it. Would be a good time on garden guard duty (guarden duty?). I had no idea that Idaho had weight limits on hunting rifles. Too bad about the Barrett. Mine is an Aero M5 by the way and I love it, just make sure you get an adjustable gas block and the right buffer weights/sizes. Lot of people run into trouble on builds because of buffer compatibility issues.
It's meh. Like the standard trigger that comes with most ARs. Meh but it works. You get what you pay for and I wasn't going for a super expensive build. I may switch it out as some point in the future.
Decided to do an AR-10 build this year because
Fuck it
Trump sent me Trump bucks
Good luck finding a rifle on the shelf right now
What did you go with? I am really thinking about selling my .30-06 and doing an Aero M5 build.

PSA .308 AR-10. Stripped lower, complete upper, lower parts kit. All for about $900.
I have a psa lower for my 5.56. How’s the trigger that came with the LPK? The one that came with my lower is kind of meh.
