Im currently going back and worth with a guy claiming that since 70% of america is overweight it justifies the shutdowns since obesity is one if the comorbidalities.
But the cdc says the number of covid deaths where obesity is a contributing factor is less than the ones where its not.

Do where does that put the actual mortality rate now?
0.16%, and that's if you only go by "6 million infected" and disregard that most (80%) are asymptomatic and most of those likely never even got tested
Is there any sign of the virus causing lasting lung damage to asymptomatic people?
