That's true of damn near every disease, though. Smallpox, pneumonic plague, ebola. All have some people who survive them.

The only disease with 100% mortality (untreated) is rabies -- and even the treatment for rabies has only worked around three times.

It is possible that some people have gotten rabies and remained asymptomatic.
