I remember when All In the Family was on and the Jeffersons were moving into the house next door to the Bunkers. Archie didn't want them to live there and told Edith that she'd regret encouraging them to buy the house when the "rib bones and watermelon rinds were tossed out of the window and into the yard. :)

Archie was more up front about his racism. Today's Dems rant about diversity but they still don't want the minorities living next door.
