I think this is especially true during war. I noticed that one thing that is constant in all wars that it is tiring and emotionally draining to virtually all warriors and soldiers. That is why, in addition to physical fitness and equipment, morale is important for the army. Without morale, even the mightiest warriors and heroes will be destroyed, sometimes without a fight.
That is why I think it is important to preserve and take back our sources of entertainment and joy, or replace them with our home-grown sources. Because without joy, morale will plummet and the cause is doomed.
