My grandpa was a solid, far right, religious conservative. He also voted Democrat because of FDR. His hearing wasn't too good and he couldn't really understand the debates. I wonder how many like him are out there still?
I worked in a few nursing homes when I was young and, at election time, the Democrat people would show up and have heavily medicated old people casting votes. Those patients didn't have a clue what they were signing!
