Being raised by women caused a lot of black men to have feminine traits such as narcissism, obsession with clothes/sneakers, and materialism. There's really no one there to tell them no- either mom is working all the time (there are many single black moms that do work multiple jobs) and if mom is at home- living off the dole, they're pretty much useless by the time the kid hits middle school.

And usually, whatever black male role model tgat is around, they tend to be complete jackasses. There's a reason why black kids flock to athletics and entertainment- it's usually the only validation they receive. Not sure if you know this, but in many black communities, academic excellence is frowned upon- it's akin to acting white. Now there are exceptions, but it's a good rule of thumb.
