Paid to fix things which never needed fixing. A fictional analogy: he's akin to a city official who's paid to fix potholes. However, changes in road surface technology have rendered potholes all but obsolete. The pothole fixing industry is seething, so at night, gangs of marauding, black-clad pothole unionists traverse the streets, jackhammer in hand, to create more potholes. As each pothole is fixed, another is created.
The pothole myth is perpetuated, and the Chief Pothole Fixer and his union lackeys rake in the $$$.
“Why aren’t there higher paying jobs for women and POC?” Because companies Pat shitloads of money for retarded positions like this one when they could just give raises to employees who are actually useful.
Had those mean ol' policemen not engaged and harassed Floyd, he wouldn't have been forced to swallow the fentanyl that eventually killed Floyd. Can't you see that's murder?
Someone posted a video yesterday of two black professors getting redpilled over the Trayvon incident.
Yet despite them realizing it was a hoax, I am pretty sure one of the guys still said, “if Zimmerman had’ve stayed in his truck, Trayvon would still be alive.”
Sure, can I also say that if Trayvon hadn’t decided to beat on Zimmerman, he’d still be alive?
Or how about if Trayvon had’ve been a good boy in his Miami high school, he wouldn’t have gotten expelled and wouldn’t even be in Sanford Florida?
Untrue. As a broke ass person I use them because I'd rather get taxed a little on the item while knowing how much to pay off and not get super rekt by the interest once the promotional deal is over. If you go to rent a center they will fuck you so hard you'll be mad you didn't just go to a pawn shop after saving up for a few months. If you can't afford $42 a month for 12 months then you shouldn't be buying anything anyways.
Yes I know that. I'm saying broke people like myself still use their services because if you can't get a decent credit card to pay off a $500 tv over a year without getting destroyed by interest rates you can use a best buy card and know exactly how much to pay every month to complete the promotional deal before they back charge you with their own super rapey interest rates. It was also super handy in the Xbox 360 red ring days. Instead of mailing in a console and waiting for them to mail you one back we could just exchange that shit instantly in the store. They eventually stopped doing that after the red ring numbers got out of control.
I didn't have an opinion on Best Buy until a couple of months ago some douche wearing a mask and an "I save lives" tee tried to make me and my wife stand outside the store in the blistering Texas heat because there were "too many people in the store right now". It was at that moment, I washed my hands of Best Buy forever, and just got in my car and went to the Office Max down the road.
Similar story here - had occasionally used them for electronics stuff. Then they made me sit and wait for half an hour to get some small something or another that my gf needed for work (had to get it there). Haven't been back since, and probably never will. Between covid crap and now this, I'm done.
Lots of otherwise good companies out there pandering to these fools out of fear of possible lawsuits. I'm willing to bet the entire executive board and corporate leadership of Best Buy doesn't give 2 shits about the BLM agenda, but they are gonna let this Diversity Officer do his thing because they don't want a multi-million dollar, extremely public wrongful termination lawsuit on their hands in which they will be crucified by mainstream and social media. Probably the case for many companies right now.
This. It's stupid. It's utterly moronic. But it is what it is. From the little ma and pa shops with a BLM sign to the diversity officer crap, it's all a defense act.
What needs to happen is to have a high profile lawsuit involving a white and/or conservative wrongly terminated or harassed for being such. Something high profile enough to potentially attract copycats. Equality only works if everyone is truly on equal grounds.
Personally, I'd be up for a regulation that no questions remotely involving your physical appearance be asked on a job application, and that interviews be conducted by a person other than the one doing the hiring. The meeting is then transcribed and sent to the one doing the hiring, who then has to make the decision not knowing anything about the "race" of the person applying. Names are also hidden to the person making the final decision.
Dunno about that. In my experience, it's best for the person doing the hiring to at least be part of the interview (even if they aren't conducting it) because you have to get a vibe of the potential employee's personality and whether they'd be horrible to be around for 8 hours a day, totally separate from their ability to perform their job functions. I don't think you could get that vibe from a transcript, personally.
I do agree with your high profile lawsuit though. My company started their own "diversity club" or whatever bullshit you wanna call it. I fully plan on joining and talking about how I've been discriminated against for my beliefs, only answering questions they ask until they figure out it's because I'm a Trump supporter. Will be interesting to see how they react.
People should be hiring whoever they want for whatever reason they want. Because that's the right earned by someone taking a risk to run a business.
The government does not belong here.
Let the market judge if they care about what color skin the person has who built their widget or served their coffee or wrote their app. Hint: they couldn't care less.
I just think clown world has gone vastly out of control and that race and all other "isms" need to be left in last century where they belong. Go complete meritocracy for a while, just for fun.
None of this cucked behavior will stop the crowd from looting your stores and it'll only push away conservatives from shopping there due to virtue signaling.
What the fuck has an electronics store got to do with the justified shooting of a criminal? At this point, it's just virtue signaling so the "woke" crowd won't target them, and they won't be sued for "muh racial discrimination." Covering their asses like pathetic sheep.
And the next time I hear another empty platitude like "advocate for change" I'm going to eat three breakfast burritos, drive to Best Buy, stick a finger down my throat and throw it all up all over their fucking Apple craptops.
AND WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS JUNETEENTH SHIT?!?!?!??!
I am really fucking tired of these traitors. They are openly denying truth and denying reality and are so easily manipulated I’m beginning to think they aren’t even human.
Went to buy a car stereo for my daughter at the Roanoke Best Buy, which I paid to have them install.
From start to finish the absolute shittiest retail experience I had in years. Ended up taking the stereo to a local guy to have him do the installation right.
Vowed to never go.into Best Buy again. 2 years later, I've kept my promise.
Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer - that's the problem right there.
I hope he enjoys the burning of his city, in the name of diversity!!
This^

who do i even call to fix a pothole?
Just fill ‘em with Antifa corpses ;)
Best answer.
City, I'd think. But, then that would probably go on the 'to-do' list, so, more than likely, you'd end up having to do it yourself.
maybe i'll cover it up with a metal maga sign
Hustlers

Killing of George Floyd... Asshole killed himself

We need to refer to that as the suicide of George Floyd.
Never shop there.
Never do.
Haven’t in a long time. Never will now/
The showroom for the internet takes another blow.
That's the only thing they're good for.

The idea is that you go TV shopping at Best Buy and then go buy it online cheaper.
Yes I know that. Well thanks for keeping them in business so I can continue to use them as a show room.

Meanwhile I got a laptop during lockdown and it was fantastic because we just pulled up to the curb and they handed it through the window lol.

They cultivated their own destruction by giving that cancerous ideology a foothold.

I'm completely un-commie.
I just think clown world has gone vastly out of control and that race and all other "isms" need to be left in last century where they belong. Go complete meritocracy for a while, just for fun.
But it ain't happening.
Will not be going tbere again. Dumb fucking cunts.

FUCK BEST BUY AND ALL "WOKE" CORPORATIONS.
Haven’t they given away enough social justice tvs already?
They won't be getting my business.
Best Buy's still around?
I am really fucking tired of these traitors. They are openly denying truth and denying reality and are so easily manipulated I’m beginning to think they aren’t even human.
Diversity and Inclusion officer..... so like the KGB political officers.... got it.
Best Buy funds CAIR. This is so consistent with their world view.
best buy still exists?
Who killed George Floyd? Did I miss something? Didn't George kill George?
Fuck Jacob Blake
My company is doing this too. Needless to say I am looking for employment elsewhere.
It's everywhere. And it's almost the exact same message everytime. Almost like a centrally coordinated effort.
Come in, check out the new stuff before you buy it online for 30% less!! - Best Buy.
It's 113 degrees here in Phoenix. We're going to have you wait 25-30 minutes outside with no shade because Covid-19. Fuck you.
Not nearly enough. Its NEVER nearly enough with these people. It will never be enough
Best buy should move its hq to chicago. No diversity like chiraq diversity.
Well, I was shopping them for a new refrigerator, not any more.
I will take my money elsewhere.
On the boycott list now. Thanks!
"Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer" These words induce vomiting.
GEORGE FLOYD DIED OF A DRUG OVERDOSE. HE WAS NOT KILLED BY ANYONE EXCEPT HIMSELF.
Micro Center is far better.
What is left for us. Where can i buy electronics?
Sounds like my company. I'm not about to dox myself though.
just bought a tripod from them last week... guess that's the last time i visit a store.
Yikes, thanks for posting this, no more shopping there anymore.
Damn, I always thought they were okay. Overpriced, but good if you need something quick.
That really won't take much, I hear they're mostly broke already.
When companies are circling the drain, is it clockwise or counter?
Dammit!!! I was looking for a good Labor Day laptop deal.
I will be looking elsewhere.
Great. This is the last major electronics store since Frys went out of business.
Nice short list of places to ignore
My company is doing the exact same bullshit. Its tiresome.
That's what happens when your CEO is from France.
Went to buy a car stereo for my daughter at the Roanoke Best Buy, which I paid to have them install.

lol they're begging and pleading to the gibmedats not to loot them, lmao.
A company with an inclusion and diversity person or department shouldn't be in business
My testicles receding word-by-word up into my body make it nearly impossible to finish reading letters like this.
