Except the media has been calling it 'peaceful protests" for 3 months so the layman doesn't know how violent this has been unless you actually live in these cities. So if they heard of Trump's DHS opening fire against these people they would think it would be Kent State 2.0. Optics are bad against us on a national/international level but the locals would appreciate it.

This exactly. Many still think these are peaceful riots unless they follow the right twitter YouTube accounts or active a lot on social media. Even Fox doesn’t cover all the bits of these riots and not on a day to day basis either.
