As a conservative, I whole heartedly concur. Wherever possible I think local govt should take precedence over federal intervention. Could the situation in Portland be construed as an issue of national security? Perhaps. But if that's how folks in Oregon want to live, then go man go, BUT don't look to me to pay for fixing your mess. Portlanders made their bed, now they get to sleep in it.
