There you have it from the great man himself. Trump dies not want his supporters to confront these prick rioters. I've said it myself, it could lead to people confronting then getting killed, which is what happened. Plus its bad for Trump as the media just beat him up over it.
After what Trump said, I'd find it very hard to believe that anyone that confronts these rioters is a Trump supporter, especially after what he said in the interview. I'd even go so far as to say it could be a false flag as someone pretending to be a Trump supporter.
Anyone that confronts them may well be patriotic, but don't go saying they're Trump supporters when they go against his wishes, after what he said in the interview.
I totally agree with Trump. Do not confront these derranged rioters. They WANT confrontation with anyone, business owners, home owners but especially Trump supporters. It's what they want the most. They'd probably want one of thier own to be injured or killed so the media can rub with it 24/7.
My brother in-law is a cop and said something similar, these people are crazy because they were stuck at home quarantining for who knows how long, now they’re out and about not giving a shit. If you confront them who knows what they’re carrying and what not. It’s not worth your life or mine confronting such retards over some bullshit.

my take is, if your inside your home and business, I say do everything you can to protect your life and those of your family, your home and business. heck, id go into thier business and help them defend it, armed with whatever I had to fight the mobs.
