That’s the worst about it. I have no idea where’s exactly masks are mandatory so I’m pretty sure I’m wearing mine more than I have to.

You shouldn't be wearing one at all. It's security theater in nature and outright intentional manipulation to see who will comply with useless mandates.

What's a Security Theater? I couldn't find much on DDG. Thanks!

No worries! Security theater is when people take action that looks like they're putting serious thought and concern to the safety and security of something, but in reality they aren't doing anything to actually fix the problem. It's often used in cyber security, but applies here too; everything they're doing is for show, not to stop the virus.

Think TSA at airports. They did a test once and, if I remember correctly, the TSA has something like a 95% failure rate when it comes to actually preventing people from carrying weapons on a plane. I've gotten past with razors I accidentally left in my backpack. Even heard a story once of someone who was let on and realized they had left their pistol in their carry on bag.

TSA is really just a bunch of people standing around looking like they are doing something when in reality they don't accomplish shit. Its all a disguise so that people feel safer flying than they really are, and to some extent, to fool some idiots who might plan on doing something stupid with a plane that they wouldn't get away with it. In reality anyone who wanted to hijack a plane nowadays probably still could.

(Although the two good things from the 9/11 aftermath is that cockpit doors are now always locked from the inside, and now it can't be assumed that a hijacked plane will just be flown to a nearby airfield where the hijackers will get ten million dollars and a free flight back to Saudi Arabia. They might actually fly the fucking thing into a building and kill everyone on board.)

Gun free zones are also another good example of security theater. Most places that advertise as gun free have absolutely zero ways to make sure you don't bring a gun onto the property. All it does is deter lawful gun owners from protecting themselves, and fool sheep into thinking there aren't any wolves around.

That's the way to do it. You don't end up breaking a single law, you don't instigate any kind of conflict that people can plaster all over social media to make you look like a moron, and you show them that you're principled and would rather take your business to someone who won't infringe on your medical rights.

Wearing yours anywhere but a hospital is more than you have to. I even refused at my dentist's office (empty waiting room, no other patients) and they didn't persist. Even got them to use the temperature gun on my arm instead of my head (I don't like those fuckin things shoved in my face)

Most of the shit they're telling us we have to do is toothless and we don't have to do it.

70% of all patients admitted to NYC hospitals with CCPvirus had NO fever.

Temperature checks are absolute bullshit. Supposedly the virus can be transmitted by asymptomatic people, because that's the excuse behind the mask mandates. Well how the fuck are you going to detect a fever in someone who is asymptomatic?

We have to go through temperature screening at my office and the person doing it doesn't even look at the monitor half the time. They just wave you on without a seconds hesitation.

My Son is still drawing unemployment due to registering a low grade fever every other day in May. The boss said it'd be irresponsible of him to let him work. He hated that job anyway, lol
